These agencies are responsible for promoting new activities as well as production, research and service centres, and sites to strengthen their economic, industrial and technological base, and to create new jobs.
Through focused scouting we identify potential investors and assist them at meetings with potential partners in those sectors where they want to establish their activities all the way through until their projects are completed.
We carry out sector marketing by following a methodology with six milestones. This approach is based on the main differentiation factors of the region we are working with and the rigorous definition of specific targets to identify potential investors. We focus on tangible and lasting opportunities for economic development agencies and enterprises to create value and business that can lead to new partnerships and networks.
Link’s consultants have more than 20 years experience in sector marketing, having worked individually and in teams with different European and non-European economic development agencies. We have organised more than 40 scouting missions in various sectors and countries to the benefit of regional and national economic promotion agencies, consortia and technology centres. We have generated many investment projects and partnerships but also growth opportunities and new business for companies belonging to the territories we have worked with.
We mainly work in highly technological sectors: automotive and innovative mobility, traditional and alternative sources of energy, cleantech, pharmaceutical and life sciences, medical devices, ICT and luxury goods (fashion, leather, accessories, jewels and watches).
